This restaurant is a good option if your in the mood for a medium priced steak. This was our 2nd visit to this location and the experience met our expectations.
My wife and I had the butcher board appetizer and the sausage was delicious. The cheese left a little to be desired. This seems to be their signature appetizer so I expected better. We have had their queso appetizer in the past and that was on point.
The house salads are pretty bland. I think the Saltgrass and Texas Roadhouse salads are much better but this is not a deal breaker. The included bread is very good so it balances out what the salads are missing.
The entrees were delicious. My wife had the salmon with a baked potato and I had the ribeye with Parmesan crust and broccoli. The meat was cooked perfectly and for those cheese lovers the Parmesan crust is a must. The salmon was also cooked perfectly.
The service is great at this location. The waiter constantly checked on us and refilled or drinks in a timely manner. On our first visit we had a bug fly into my wife's salad and when we told the waitress the management went out of their way to make up for it.
Overall this is a good steakhouse and compares well to the other medium priced steakhouse available. This spot is definitely worth a visit. -

We walked in to the restaurant to see the young hostess flirting with one of the waiters and taking her time to help us.
Once we were seated, the waitress walked with with an attitude because it was 10:15 and they close at 11. She perked up when we told her we were ready to order pretty quickly.
We were supposed get bread and she never brought any out to us. Everything felt rushed. She brought out the salads and mine had two huge white hearts in it and when I told her she asked if I wanted another one. I said no. By that point I already had the steaks (brought out by someone else.) I asked her to at least let the staff in the back know about the salad she said, "they don't listen to anyone, they do whatever they want."
When the steaks came out one was bleeding. Once we cut into it there was blood all over the plate and soaked up into the mashed potatoes (pictures uploaded).
The manager was dealing with another table having to offer them gift cards because of issues they were having. He was one table away from us and never looked our way to check on us.
I am so disappointed. I had Longhorn Steakhouse in Tulsa and was thrilled to see we had one here in the DFW. My husband and I were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and the meal was essentially ruined because of lack of attention to detail and rude staff.
This would have been one star but the flavor of the steaks was still good. The potatoes were not as silky as the ones we got in Tulsa. We ate there 3 different times and it quality was consistent. -

The food here is excellent and the decor has a rustic Texan feel to it. I had visitors from outside the country and they wanted a Texas style steakhouse and we chose this restaurant and we were all very satisfied with the food experience.
Food five stars for sure but after food dropped off our server disappeared and we had no drink refills I had to give my water to my guest since I was having wine. Other than that the overall experience was still great and I look forward to my next visit -

This is your average steakhouse. I have been wanting to try Longhorn for about 10 years now. They used to advertise on TV for Longhorn long before we actually had a location near our home.
I have anticipated the day that I would actually get to sit down and try the food that looked so delicious!
It was just average. Nothing truly special except for the service. That was amazing.
The filet was cooked perfectly, but not the best filet I have ever had. Creamed spinach was good and a very large portion. Now on to that lobster tail. That was one of the best lobster tails I have ever had in my life.
Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is great.
I don't see myself eating here on a regular, but I will go back eventually. -

Ok, I am a steak lover at heart, but THIS is the BEST one I've been to.
My wife Brenda and I came here for her birthday on the night they opened and have returned regularly every payday Friday.
Shane McIwain is the Manager on Friday's and will insure your experience is a great one. He's a great manager and good friend as well. Can't say enough good things about him, his staff, and the awesome food!
Get your steak flame grilled with the grill spices...you'll thank me later!
